8月2日晚，即美国众议员议长佩洛西访问台湾时，上海男子周镇因对此事过于气愤，遂携带喷漆到美领馆准备喷涂文字进行抗议，但到达美领馆后尚未行动便被便衣警察带走。警察将其带到派出所后做了笔录，不清楚是否对其进行了处罚。

Re 10月11日，郑州男子张某因在微信群里说郑州即将全域静默3天，被认定为造谣并被拘留10日。根据爱国网红“台湾表妹”等多名网友爆料，就在约两天后，郑州实施了“只做不说”式封城至今。“只做不说”式封城是指一些地方政府不通过官方渠道宣布封城，而是将封城指令逐级口头传达到基层，或为了事后撇清责任。

Re 2 weeks ago, Zhengzhou man Zhang detained for 10 days for spreading a rumor that the city was to be locked down for 3 days. Later it turned out the situation was even worse: according to a famous pro-China Taiwanese blogger in Zhengzhou, the city has been locked down for 11 days.

According to a recent notice of Urumqi police, three local men punished for expressing their dissatisfactory with Zero Covid Policy in WeChat. Two of them administratively detained for “inciting gathering”, while the other criminally detained for “inciting violation of lockdown”.
