The scenes of Iranian police opening fire and beating protestors are terrifying. Hong Kong police committed the same brutality during the 2019 protest, which ignited many more HKers to protest.

I’ve also received msgs seeking help from young Hong Kong protestors with similar cases. @SuellaBraverman has to work more on protecting these persecuted individuals.
Luke de Pulford: Working on a case of a Hong Konger (born after ‘97) involved in the 2019 protests, had their application for asylum (stupidly) rejected, and faces deportation. They’d be arrested in HK.
