据新疆网信办通报，三名当地民众因此在多个政府部门的直播视频里刷屏求助而被立案调查。三人发布的文字内容仅仅只是“乌鲁木齐”“新疆100天了”等，显然属于寻求关注和援助。新疆多地被以防疫为名进行了已经长达数十天的封控。

2017年4月，湖北省远安县公安男子赵某，因在某论坛网站的公众号留言称交警为“狗子”以及“没一个好东西”，被处拘留7日。
当地公安在通报此案时称该案为全县首例，而在全国范围内开始抓“网络辱警”大约也只开始于两年之前。

Man surnamed Zhao from Hubei detained for 7 days for referring to traffic cops as “doge” on Internet and saying they were “up to no good”. The incident happened in Apr 2017, and local police claimed this was the first case of such kind in that county.

Chinese dissident Li Nanfei arrested in Thailand for protesting Xi’s dictatorship in Bangkok. He is now under police custody and faces deportation to China, where he will likely be persecuted. Li is a UNHCR recognized refugee and I’ve written an email to @UNHCRThailand for help.

旅泰异议人士李南飞因在泰国街头抗议习近平而被捕，现面临被遣返回中国。李南飞多年前曾因在中国组建民主政党而被判刑，后出逃泰国。李在泰国获得了联合国难民署的难民资格认定并一直在等待安置。本人已写信给联合国难民署泰国办公室求助。
